This is the place where I will come and just jot down some thoughts about my changing life as a new father, and the feelings that go along with it.

You know, I am absolutely amazed that we as Americans are putting up with half of the crape that is going on in the world. Think about it. Why are we "helping" a country that obviously at this point does NOT want our help? Why are we sending our sons and daughters into harms way when they are not even wanted there. I think that before this gets any worse and maybe even becomes a Vietnam, we need to withdraw ALL of our troops from the middle east and let them fend for themselves. If it is the oil that we are after then just go and get it. We are the most powerful nation in the world and no on could stop us.
Okay, enough of the politcal banter. My son is getting so big. He is now 4 1/2 months old and is learning so much everyday that I am just amazed. I can not believe how quickly he is developing. He is eating cereal 3 times a day, holding his spoon and with help feeding himself, holding his own bottle, and is even beginning to recognize some words, like his own name and bottle, and up. I am so thankful that I am able to be the stay at home parent and see these developmental milestones. Well, Have a GREAT day everyone. I will write again soon, and as soon as I figure out how to post photo's, I will probably post a pic of my son. Thanks for reading.
